At TAAF we see a society with increased maternal and child life span-a Nigeria where women live through and after pregnancy and neonatal death is almost if not completely absent in the country.
Our Mission is to introduce more inclusive and creative programs that will drive the consciousness of safe motherhood practices to all concerned stakeholders with view of promoting good maternal, newborn and child health through top level advocacy, trainings and awareness campaigns.
Over the years, digital technology has become an essential part of many countries’ health systems. COVID-19 and the subsequent strains on health systems have only further highlighted the need for, and progress in, the development of digital health solutions.
Determine the primary issues to be addressed and Define the aim clearly, develop benchmarks, and determine which solution best satisfies those criteria.
1. Get stakeholders buy in
2. Identify and map locations to pilot
3. Identify key performance indicator to organization’s impact
4. Establish support groups and continuous M&E practices.
Our project Maisha save a mother’s life seeks to address these problems through awareness and advocacy programs. Maisha is a Swahli word which means life.
It’s about health. It’s about helping girls
everywhere to manage menstruation in a way that doesn’t put them at risk of infections that are at best avoidable.
In partnership with the National Council of Child Rights Advocates of Nigeria (NACCRAN), TAAF works to see that the rights of children especially as it regards their rights Rights and Welfare of a Child (ACRWC) are upheld
Together we can help end preventable maternal deaths in our lifetime
