In partnership with the National Council of Child Rights Advocates of Nigeria (NACCRAN), TAAF works to see that the rights of children especially as it regards their rights Rights and Welfare of a Child (ACRWC) are upheld. In view of this, advocacy is taken to schools, hospitals, worship centres and market places.
Networking and Partnerships
TAAF works in partnership with Non-Governmental Organisations, Community Based Organisations and groups, including Faith-Based Organisations, youth and women’s groups in Nigeria. Our strategy of working through partnerships is to build and strengthen existing works already going on to improve maternal health and reproductive health in general and ensure community level engagement.
Interventions are the primary responsibility of the government. Thus, TAAF partners with the Federal governments including the state and national assemblies, ministries, departments and agencies on projects that promotes reproductive health rights including maternal health for women.
TAAF seeks collaborations with private
sector institutions that use business
solutions to solve social problems. For example, collaborations will be forged with
organizations with corporate social responsibility initiatives across the country. Public Private Partnerships in the funding of large-scale projects will also be sought.
